BZU Quantum Computing Club

Birzeit University pioneered in the region by being the first to engage with the Quantum Computing Club as a student-led initiative.

The University is located in Palestine, Ramallah. Despite facing numerous challenges it successfully attracts and enrolls students with high competence and qualifications across a diverse range of majors.

In the Quantum Computing Club, a variety of projects are undertaken periodically, each with a distinct aim to familiarize students with the burgeoning field of quantum computing. Despite being in its nascent stages, the club has already completed a notable project: a compilation of scientific paper summaries. These papers encompass a broad spectrum of topics within quantum computing, offering insights into its diverse functionalities. This initiative not only marks a significant milestone for the club but also serves as an invaluable resource for students keen on exploring this cutting-edge technology.

This initiative would not be possible without the Innovation and Development Unit at Birzeit University AND the dean of Computer Engineering Faculty Prof. Ahmad Alsadeh
